Hi! My name is Marisol De Leon Folks, but I go by Maddy. Lake Jackson, TX has been my home since I was five years-old. After graduating from high school, I moved to Irving, Texas for a brief time, where I attended the University of Dallas. My studies took me across the world to Spain, Rome, and the Vatican on a life-changing study abroad. Four years flew by, and I graduated Cum Laude with a B.A. in Business Leadership.
After college, I stayed in the Dallas area and worked for a number of companies in industries ranging from small business incubation to medical technology sales.
In 2009, I married my high school sweetheart and moved back home to the Lake Jackson area. Shortly thereafter, I was fortunate enough to be hired as the Project Coordinator for the NEA PP Project Team. In this position, I have learned a lot not only about developing successful training, but also about implementing it seamlessly throughout a global company. On a more personal note, this position has taught me so much about work/life balance, as my husband and I welcomed our first child in September 2012.
When the opportunity to start LLS came about, it just felt like a natural progression and a continued opportunity for growth. I love my job, and I love the people I get to work with on a daily basis, so being able to continue the same type of job with the same people was an easy decision for me. Together, our team has acquired the skills and know-how that enable us to help other companies not only plan, but develop and implement their own learning systems.
I couldn't be prouder to be the CEO and Head of Consulting Services for Legacy Learning Solutions, LLC and to be in business with two of the most hard-working, smart, and dedicated women I know. I look forward to the opportunity to earn your business and to continue to contribute to our wonderful community!
I am Mindy Lermon Woytasczyk, a native of the Texas Panhandle, and resident of Lake Jackson since 2001. I graduated from Brazosport College as a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society with an Associate of Arts degree. Recently married to the love of my life, Jared, we share 3 beautiful children, and stay busy with home and family life! My family is close knit, so I enjoy spending time with them, and am fortunate to have them living nearby.
My career began in a different world, in the retail electrical industry where I managed high profile client accounts. A long time passion for art and graphic design led me to accept a position with Dow Chemical and the NEA PP project in the growing field of e-learning. There I found my niche. My experience as Course Development Coordinator introduced me to the e-learning profession, and with each passing year I have come to love it all the more.
Starting Legacy Learning Solutions with Maddy and Emily is a dream come true. I respect both of them greatly, and consider collaboration with them a pleasure. I am excited to bring my experience and expertise to the Legacy Learning Solutions team as Chief Operations Officer (COO) and Director of Design and Development. I confidently speak for Maddy and Emily when I say that our customers are more than just the business of the day, they are our partners who deserve and receive our best!
Hello! My name is Emily Gray, and I was born and raised in Lake Jackson, Texas. A little less than 24 hours after graduating high school, I hopped on an international flight to Belgium for a once in a lifetime experience, which remains one of my greatest memories to date.
Before beginning the global implementation of the NEA PP project for Dow Chemical, alongside Maddy and Mindy, I spent 7 years rehabilitating struggling retail stores into thriving businesses for a billion dollar corporation. In those 7 years, I studied the sales world like a science and began building a sales model that would aid in business recovery and sustainability.
In 2011, after prayerful consideration, I resigned from my position within the corporation and moved back to Brazoria County. Sales and Marketing are where I thrive, but as I quickly moved up the corporate ladder the most important things in life were taking a backseat to the climb, like being able to stop by and read a bedtime story to my niece and nephew from time to time. Soon after moving back, I was given the incredible opportunity to work on the NEA PP Project at Brazosport College, as a Development Specialist.
I'm incredibly blessed and honored to serve as the CFO and Director of Sales and Marketing for Legacy Learning Solutions, LLC and to work alongside two of the most upstanding, professional, intelligent, creative, and dedicated women I know. We each bring incredible strengths in our areas of expertise that is guaranteed to aid us in building a legacy for our clients, ourselves, our families, and the community as a whole. I look forward to collaborating with each of you, as we create an unprecedented environment for your employees to thrive in.
